Sunday Breakfast, Fellowship, Sunday School and Worship
usually 9am to noon or so
We have a lovely cold breakfast available in the Family Life Center (also known as the FLC or the gym) starting at about 9am. Stop by and pick up some fresh fruit, grab a bowl of cereal or sit and share a cup of coffee. Some of our adults take the time from 9:30-10:20 to catch up on the week's activities while they share coffee in the gym. Other adults go to Sunday school from 9:30-10:20am and the children often flock to Sunday school during that same time. Worship starts at 10:30 and is sometimes over by 11:30 and most of the time certainly over by noon. (We are grateful to know that worship is for God and not for an hour.) After worship there is an group of folks that share their faith journey together, known as the "Emmaus Reunion." And, on the second Sunday of most months we share a common "potluck" meal together.
Adult Bible Study
usually 1pm TUESDAYS in the community learning room
Will happen from 1-2 on Tuesday afternoon. This Bible study is open to all and is led by our pastor. Right now we are reading through the book of Genesis. There is always good discussion and great insight the class ends at 2pm.
Mary's Exercise Class
usually 2pm TUESDAYS in the FLC That's right! Mary's exercise class has now outgrown the Choir room and so they are meeting in the Family Life Center. This once a week exercise class is a great way to stay fit and it open to persons of all abilities. Some folks need to sit down for their exercise and you can sure do that in Mary's class.
Knitting Group
7pm Thursdays
We don't all know how to knit or crochet but we share a common desire to learn and to use our hands to create beautiful things to share with others. Come join us!
Kid's Korner after-school learning
usually 3:15-5:15 on Wed and Thurs during the school year
The program is in full swing and there are lot so of ways that you can help. You can pray. You could show up on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon with words of encouragement for the staff. In particular we need folks to volunteer to do food shopping and food preparation. If that's something that you like doing and you think you might want to help you can contact: Angel Campolo at the church office 442-0996. We'll be registering for the spring semester the first week in February.
THRIFT STORE
usually 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. Come visit and shop at our store for great prices!
Youth Group
usually 3:30-6:30pm Sundays
Usually we jump in the van and drive over to Westlake UMC to have a combined youth group with their youth. Although once in awhile we have youth over here.

usually all day on Monday
An independent non-profit health clinic that is operating at Parker Lane is currently on site on Mondays from 8:30-2:30 or so. They still have need of volunteers. Texas Fencing Academy
usually 6:00-9:00pm on Mondays and Wednesday in the FLC

7:30-8:30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays in the FLC

Yoga
usually 6:00-7:15pm on Thursdays in the FLC
