Weavings Wellness Group provides mental health counseling at our Parker Lane Location.  You can schedule an appointment by calling: 327-0020 x301 and leaving a message for Ms. Kebana Frost.
 
Auxanomen
provides general health services. With a physician on-site at Parker Lane UMC most Mondays, this clinic can help with diabetes and other health issues. Find out more at their website or call: (512) 797-5169 for an appointment.
On Our Campus:
  • A Wesley Nurse, Mary Jones is at church from 8:30-4:30pm most days and helps in many ways including blood pressure checks and sugar level checks.  The Wesley nurse also offers educational classes including "cooking for diabetics" and exercise classes.  Her one on one conversations can help identify health issues and help to connect folks to needed services.  She does health education for our kids to get them started on a healthy track.  Mary has the ability to help with some testing supplies and occasionally is able to help with perscriptions. 
  • Kid's Korner is a free afterschool program offered twice a week to children from local elementary schools. Kids Korner will be on Wednesdays & Thursday from 3:15pm to 5:15pm. Available to children from 2nd through 5th grades. 
  • Free wireless internet is offered at our church location. 
  • Basketball happens on campus on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30PM in conjunction with our partner in mission, Opportunity Sports.
  • Limited equipment, but free work out room will soon be available at the church.
  • Various meetings and events are held at our location.  Missions that are consistent with our call to support our community often rent our facility.  Family events such as quinceaneras are often held on our site and Communities in Schools, a local non-profit that puts social workers in AISD schools regularly uses our site for planning.
  • An on-site garden provides good, healthy, organic food for our church family.
  • We work for global good through programs such as Imagine no Malaria and Nothing But Nets.
  • Mental health counseling is available onsite through our partners in mission, Weavings Wellness Group.
  • COMING SOON: a health clinic will operated on Mondays and Thursdays starting this winter through our partners in mission, Auxanomen.
